Service Description

In this workshop, Emma will guide you step by step through the process of making a simple cuttlefish cast ring of your own design. Absolutely no prior experience necessary- all safety equipment and tools provided, with silver or gold available at cost per gram. You can bring your old pieces to melt, but please discuss beforehand to ensure metal is suitable. Emma has 12 years of professional experience and has taught many people to make rings over the years. She really enjoys the alchemy of working with metal and is enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge. The setting is in a private studio in Hobart surrounded by bushland. Duration 3.5 hours with a 30 minute buffer. Price is per person with a maximum of 2 per class.

Cancellation Policy

Please note the following policy for Creative Alignment Sessions: Deposit: A $50 deposit is required to secure your session. This deposit is non-refundable, but can be transferred to a future session if you reschedule with sufficient notice (see below). Cancellation & Rescheduling: Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. If notice is given less than 24 hours before your session, the session fee will not be refunded and the deposit cannot be transferred. If you provide more than 24 hours’ notice, your session can be rescheduled, and your deposit will be applied to the new date. No-Show Policy: Failure to attend your session without notice will result in forfeiture of the session fee and deposit. Good Faith: I understand that emergencies happen. If something unexpected occurs, please contact me as soon as possible , and I’ll do my best to accommodate a new booking. By booking a session, you agree to this policy. NOTE: These sessions are tax-deductible if you have an ABN, and can also be included in grant budgets as professional development or creative support.
