The MycoVerse

A vision for the West Coast of Tasmania

The MycoVerse is a living, growing vision. It's a place where art, fungi, technology, and community meet to imagine bold, regenerative futures. At the heart of it is a plan to transform an old church on Tasmania’s wild West Coast into an immersive hub for storytelling, science, and spore-based wonder.

To share the journey as it unfolds, I’ve started writing on Substack.

Substack is a platform for newsletters that arrive in your inbox like thoughtful letters from a friend. My publication, Notes from the MycoVerse, offers behind-the-scenes glimpses into the creative process, fungi research, speculative design, and the moments of connection that are shaping this work.

You can read for free, or choose to support the project with a paid subscription... kinda like buying a ticket to help the mushroom train keep chugging along. There are tiered options, and it’s easy to opt out anytime.

As a thank you to top-tier founding members, I’ll be sending a handmade mushroom pendant,  based on a special piece I “long-term borrowed” from my mum as a kid. I’ll also include a short personal video of the piece being made, and post it to you wherever you are in the world. Please allow around four weeks for making and delivery. I’ll keep you updated on progress.

Whether you're here for the fungi, the art, the tech, or the community, you’re invited to come along for the ride.
